By accessing or using MyMeters, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Service

MyMeters provides a platform for managing and tracking utility meter readings. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the platform or attempt to access it in an unauthorised manner.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of meter readings and other data you submit. MyMeters is not liable for any decisions made based on incorrect data you provide.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of MyMeters are owned by MyMeters and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without our written consent.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MyMeters at any time, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

MyMeters is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Not an Accounting Platform; Bill Calculator

MyMeters is not an accounting platform. It is a tool for recording, tracking, and managing utility meter readings, and it does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services of any kind.

The Bill Calculator works out a utility cost based on the information provided. As there are hundreds of municipalities, each applying their own criteria, it is not possible for MyMeters to cater for every structure followed by the different municipalities. Calculated amounts are estimates for guidance only and should not be relied upon as official account balances or invoices.
